How often do we ship?

We ship every Tuesday and occasionally Wednesday depending on volume. Shipping later in the week risks shipments getting stuck at distribution centers over the weekend and ruining the shipment. - unless it's a UPS holiday or we run out/can't access dry-ice to ship.

The cost of shipping meat will depend on where you're geographically located. We send meat next-day, or 2nd-day so shipping can get rather expensive!

Shipping meats is a FLAT RATE per zone and includes the cost of the insulated liner, box, dry ice and overnight or 1-2 day shipping. Rates are $29-69 in the continental US and $89-99 Hawaii and Alaska.

You can order as much as you'd like and shipping does not increase (split an order with a neighbor to reduce the cost!)

When will I know my order has shipped?

You will get an email with tracking once your order is on the truck.

How is the beef packed?

Boxes ship with dry ice pellets, which sublimate within 12 hours to keep the meats frozen in transit. Our superior packaging and dry ice means meats can stay frozen for 48-92 hours if they hit any delays.

Where can you ship?

We can ship to all of the lower 48 states, however, if you are outside of our ground shipping area (see map and list below), your package will go UPS Next Day Air. There are some rural addresses that UPS cannot guarantee next day delivery to and you will be unable to select a shipping option at checkout. Unfortunately we do not have any alternative at this time.

When do you need my order by?

Order cut-off is midday Monday - this is because we need to order our dry ice on Monday afternoon and only order what we need for confirmed orders - dry ice is expensive and we don't like to waste it!

Orders received after midday on Monday will go out the following week, unless otherwise specified (e.g pre ordered special cuts may ship on a specified date in the future)

Next Day Air shipments will ship Tuesdays and occasionally Wednesdays depending on volume. Occasionally around holidays or particularly busy periods, next day air may also ship out on Thursdays.

How much does it cost to ship?

We ship FREE on all orders over $120 within our ground shipping area (see list below) and $20 for orders below $120.

If you are outside of our ground shipping area, your shipping will be calculated at checkout at the current UPS Next Day Air rate.
